Develop and manage integration services and APIs in a Mule 4 environment, focusing on event-driven integrations and CI/CD processes.
Project overview
As a DevOps Integration Engineer, you will work on mission-critical integration services and APIs in an international technology environment.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Develop and manage integration services in Mule 4
- Realize services and framework components based on Java and Mule Runtime
- Set up event-driven integrations and APIs
- Apply TDD and automated tests
- Connect internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, HTTP, JMS, SFTP, and queueing
- Contribute to CI/CD and software delivery processes
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integration services
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Align with technical and business stakeholders in an international context
- 5+ years of experience with integration projects
- Extensive practical experience with MuleSoft / Mule 4
- Solid knowledge of Mule connectors, Mule Runtime Engine, and transaction management
- Experience with event-based integration and API development
- Familiarity with XML, RAML, and WSDL
- Strong Java knowledge
- Experience working with Maven, Nexus, Git, Bamboo, and Bitbucket
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as the ELK Stack
- Experience with Anypoint Platform, particularly API Manager and Runtime Manager
- Understanding of integration architecture patterns
- Experience with TDD and automated testing
- Experience within an Agile working environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Fluent knowledge of English; Dutch is a plus
