DevOps / System Engineer with focus on Wildfly & Linux

Project overview

For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for a DevOps / System Engineer with a focus on Wildfly & Linux

Responsibilities

Knowledge:

• Operation and Administration: Support and further development of the open-source application server Wildfly in a Linux environment.
• Automation: Conception, implementation, and optimization of deployment and operating processes using Ansible.
• Monitoring & Analysis: Performance monitoring, system analysis, and derivation of optimization measures.
• Databases: Support with the connection and maintenance of relational databases (PostgreSQL knowledge is an advantage).
• Sound practical experience in the administration of Linux operating systems.
• Good knowledge of handling the Wildfly Application Server (or comparable Java EE middleware environments).
• Confidence in using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Experience in performance monitoring and error analysis.
• Desirable: Know-how in handling PostgreSQL
• Analytical and goal-oriented way of working as well as teamwork skills
