Django Developer (Python, PostgreSQL, REST) – 95% Remote

Project overview

For a project in the transport and logistics sector, we are looking for an experienced Django Developer (m/f/d) for the maintenance and further development of a web application.

The position is 95% remote with a location in Frankfurt am Main. The assignment begins in January 2027 and runs until the end of the year. Approximately 5% on-site days at the location are planned per year.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and further development of a Django-based web application
• Frontend development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
• Development and integration of REST interfaces
• Connection of external systems
• Database development with PostgreSQL
• Implementation of CI/CD processes
• Analysis and resolution of security findings

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Python and Django framework (Intermediate-Level)
• Sound knowledge in frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Django templates)
• Experience with REST interfaces and system integration
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Ability to interpret and resolve security problems
• Good German language skills for teamwork
