Domain Delivery Lead

Project overview

As part of a digital transformation program for a federal administration, the Domain Delivery Lead coordinates several agile teams around strategic business applications.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Bring together several agile teams around a common vision and ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery
• Establish a framework that promotes squad autonomy and support their maturity development through servant leadership
• Develop the overall planning with the teams and arbitrate dependencies and priorities
• Lead cross-functional rituals such as synchronizations, reviews, and retrospectives
• Remove blockers and facilitate collaboration between IT, business, and stakeholders
• Coach teams and foster a culture of trust and continuous improvement
• Manage the processing of change requests in consultation with the involved stakeholders
• Report progress, risks, and difficulties to the competent bodies and escalate if necessary
• Monitor suppliers as delivery partners
• Ensure budget monitoring and capacity management
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role coordinating multiple teams
• Solid background at the interface between business and IT, for example as a senior Product Owner, Business Relationship Manager, Agile Delivery Manager, or program director
• Experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams organized into autonomous squads
• Strong command of budget management and capacity allocation within a public context
• Mastery of agile methods and Scrum applied to complex IT projects
• Mastery of project management methods and governance practices
• Experience in digitalization with complex stakeholder management
• Experience in improving and redesigning business processes
• Knowledge of change management in transformation contexts
• Technical knowledge in solution architecture, integration, Azure cloud, DevOps, and security (NIS2, GDPR)
• Scrum and ITIL certification mandatory, Microsoft Azure certification a plus
• Fluency in Dutch or French, complemented by a good knowledge of English
