Job description
Seeking a freelance EHS Project Manager to support the internal project lead, integrating EHS requirements into project phases, and ensuring compliance.
Project overview
Project Framework Data:
- Start: November
- Duration: 12 months, with option for extension
- Location: Greater Mainz area (remote possible depending on project phase)
- Workload: up to 2 days/week until year-end, from early * 5 days/week
Responsibilities
- Right-hand person to the internal project management for all EHS topics, interface to the local EHS organization
- Integration of EHS requirements into planning, tenders, and execution concepts
- Participation in design reviews and risk assessments
- Creation and adaptation of site regulations, management of contractors and external companies
- Site inspections, audits, and follow-up of measures
Requirements
- University degree or technical training with a focus on EHS, occupational safety, construction, or building services engineering
- Several years of experience as an EHS Manager on the client side, ideally in pharmaceuticals or chemicals
- Experience with renovation projects in existing facilities during ongoing operations, in planning and execution
- Occupational safety specialist or construction site safety coordinator (SiGeKo) is an advantage
- Very good German and good English skills
