Seeking an experienced freelance Electrical Construction Manager for a PV/BESS project near Kassel, Germany. The role involves on-site construction management and coordination of electrical works.
Project overview
Hello dear freelancer,
for a client in the renewable energy sector, I am currently looking for an experienced electrical construction manager (m/f/d)
to support a PV/BESS project in the greater Kassel area.
Key Data:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Initially until the end of November
- Utilization: 4 days per week (approx. 80%)
- Location: Greater Kassel area
- On-site component: 4 days per week
- Contract type: Freelance
Responsibilities
- Construction management and coordination of electrical work on the construction site
- Control and monitoring of the executing assembly companies
- Checking of cabling, installation, and labeling work
- Ensuring the professional electrical implementation of PV and BESS components
- Coordination of the involved trades on site
- Quality control of the work performed
- Accompanying tests, acceptances, and commissioning
- Coordination with project management, clients, and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
Requirements
Desirable:
Experience with utility-scale PV or BESS projects
Experience with commissioning and acceptances
Knowledge in the EPC environment

- Electrical engineering training, technician, master craftsman, or degree in electrical engineering
- Experience as a construction manager, site manager, or construction manager in the energy sector
- Experience with PV systems and/or battery storage systems (BESS)
- Knowledge of cabling, medium voltage, grid connection, and electrical installation
- Experience in managing subcontractors and assembly companies
- Structured and independent way of working
- Driving license class B
- Good English skills
