Electrical Systems & Power Management Engineer

Project overview

Conception and design of the overall electrical architecture, including energy distribution and power management

Development of concepts for the integration of battery systems, power electronics, and control electronics

Definition and technical implementation of communication interfaces between electrical subsystems, especially CAN bus and Ethernet

Development and configuration of interfaces and communication protocols

Analysis and optimization of energy consumption and system efficiency

Technical integration of electrical components and subsystems into the overall architecture

Carrying out technical analyses, troubleshooting, and debugging at system and component level

Creation and maintenance of circuit diagrams, system diagrams, and technical documentation

Support with technical integration and commissioning as well as evaluation of results

Requirements

Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification

Several years of practical experience in the development and design of electrical systems

In-depth knowledge in power electronics, energy distribution, and power management

Experience with high-voltage systems up to 1,500 V

Very good knowledge of CAN bus communication and experience with the integration of electrical subsystems

Programming skills in C

Understanding of electrical system architectures and cross-system interfaces

Experience with measurement and diagnostic tools as well as technical troubleshooting

Structured, analytical, and independent way of working

Very good German and good English skills
