Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineering Specialist Planner - Energy and Industrial Plants

Responsibilities

• Planning and design of electrical systems for energy and industrial plants
• Creation of technical specifications, service descriptions, and tender documents for electrical equipment
• Preparation of inquiries and technical and commercial evaluation of incoming offers, including offer comparisons
• Creation of purchase requisitions and support of technical clarifications with suppliers
• Development of power supply concepts and execution of short-circuit calculations
• Planning and specification of low-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
• Technical design of electrical trace heating, cabling, socket, and outlet installations
• Planning of lightning protection, grounding, and telecommunications systems, especially fire alarm, nurse call, and video surveillance systems
• Selection of suitable explosion-proof equipment for Ex areas
• Development of structural requirements for cable trays, cable trenches, and electrical operating rooms
• Coordination of technical interfaces with adjacent disciplines, project participants, and suppliers

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in electrical planning and project engineering, ideally in power plant, energy, or industrial plant construction
• Sound knowledge in the design of low-voltage systems, power supply systems, and electrical installations
• Experience in creating technical specifications, service descriptions, and planning documentation
• Knowledge of short-circuit calculations, protection concepts, and relevant electrical standards and regulations
• Ideally, experience with explosion-proof systems and ATEX requirements
• Confident use of common electrical planning and calculation tools
• Structured, independent way of working, as well as strong communication and coordination skills
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
