Experienced electrical designer with EPLAN P8 expertise sought for modernizing and technically revising existing control cabinets. The role involves documentation analysis, hardware assessment, schematic creation, and planning new solutions.
Project overview
For the modernization and technical revision of existing control cabinets, we are looking for an experienced electrical designer / EPLAN expert.
Responsibilities
- Recording and analysis of existing control cabinet and system documentation
- Checking existing electrical hardware and identifying outdated components
- Creation and revision of circuit diagrams with EPLAN P8
- Planning and design of new control cabinet solutions as part of retrofit measures
- Creation of assembly plans, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and parts lists
- Selection of suitable replacement and successor components
- Coordination with automation, commissioning, and production teams
- Technical support during modification, wiring, and commissioning
- Maintenance and creation of revision documentation
Requirements
- Several years of experience in electrical design
- Very good knowledge of EPLAN P8
- Experience in planning and design of control cabinets
- Sound knowledge of industrial and automation technology
- Confident handling of circuit diagrams and electrical documentation
- Experience with retrofit or modernization projects
