Contract Embedded Firmware Engineer with 4–7 years’ experience to design, develop, and maintain C/C++ firmware for 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit microcontroller-based systems in Mumbai (Rabale). The role focuses on low-level firmware including device drivers, bootloaders, and RTOS-based applications, plus implementing/optimizing communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and BLE while collaborating closely with hardware and test teams and producing technical specifications/design documents.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Develop software in C/C++ for 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Implement and optimize communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and BLE.
- Develop device drivers, bootloaders, RTOS-based applications, and low-level firmware.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and test engineering teams during product development.
- Analyze system requirements and convert them into technical specifications and design documents.
