What awaits you:

As an employee in road operations service, your area of responsibility includes supporting all work in road operations and maintenance services, as well as winter services.

Changes to duties are subject to reservation.

• The scope of duties includes all work in road operations and maintenance services, as well as on-call duty for winter and accident services.
• Greenery/tree maintenance work
• Driving and operating all winter service vehicles with attachments on roadways and cycle paths
• Independent signage and securing of immediate measures and accident sites

The place of work is Hagen.

If part-time employment is agreed upon, the willingness to work the full hours of a full-time employee in the respective area of deployment on working days must be declared.

The position can be filled for a limited period of approximately 24 months.

For employees in road operations service, there is a possibility of participating in a shortened 2-year training program as a road maintenance worker as part of a retraining measure, provided they have the appropriate aptitude and performance. The selection for this will be made in a separate procedure.

• Possession of driving license classes C/CE
• Completed vocational training in a craft trade would be advantageous
• Willingness to take on duties at inconvenient times and to be on emergency call
• Experience in winter services and a chainsaw license are desirable
• Highly motivated, responsible personality with a high degree of communication, contact, and above all, teamwork skills.
