• Working hours: 32–40 hours
• Location: /Berlin
• Engineering Leadership: Professional leadership and management of interdisciplinary engineering teams, as well as ensuring efficient resource planning.
• Interface Management: Coordination of technical interfaces between engineering disciplines, project packages, EPCI contractors, purchasing, logistics, operations, and external stakeholders.
• Engineering Strategy: Development and implementation of engineering strategies, standards, processes, and governance structures.
• Technical Integration: Ensuring the consistent integration of technical, operational, regulatory, and safety-related requirements into the overall design.
• Project Management: Monitoring engineering progress, milestones, resources, deadlines, and costs.
• Quality and Risk Management: Ensuring technical quality, compliance with relevant standards and specifications, and identification and management of technical risks.
• Contractor Management: Monitoring compliance with technical, contractual, quality, and HSE requirements by external partners.
• Stakeholder Management: Central point of contact for project management, management, contractors, authorities, and other project participants.
• Change and Claims Management: Support with technical changes, supplements, contractual issues, and risk assessment.
• Commissioning and Handover: Support for engineering activities through the construction and installation phase up to commissioning and project handover.
• Completed university degree in engineering, for example in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or systems engineering.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in engineering, including demonstrable experience in the implementation of complex large-scale projects with multiple technical disciplines.
• Several years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams within large infrastructure projects or comparable programs.
• Profound knowledge in engineering management, system integration, and the management of complex project processes.
• Experience in planning and managing resources, budgets, deadlines, and project priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant technical standards, regulatory requirements, quality management systems, and HSE standards.
• Experience in technical risk management as well as in coordinating complex interfaces and diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in international, interdisciplinary project environments; additional language skills are an advantage.
