Project overview

We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) for one of our direct clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Enterprise Architect
• Development of a uniform, robust, and traceable methodology for collecting and evaluating the affected IT systems
• Collection, updating, and validation of the database for approximately 200 IT systems, including platforms
• Coordination with the responsible parties of the affected IT systems and obtaining confirmed system information
• Analysis of redundancy capability and technical adaptation needs per IT system
• Derivation of concrete technical adaptation measures and estimation of implementation effort
• Development of a substantiated proposal for the geo-redundant operating mode per IT system
• Determination of the required hardware and server capacity for resilient and geo-redundant data center structures
• Support in cost estimation for the required adaptations of the affected IT systems
• Contribution to the technical solution design (TLE) and creation of the necessary technical documentation
• Development and creation of enablement scenarios for resilient and geo-redundant structures
• Development of process plans for the activation of IT systems in resilient and geo-redundant operating structures
• Review of existing tools for their suitability and identification of possible gaps
• Determination of dependencies between systems during planned migrations and consideration of these in the planning
• Support in leading large project groups
• Content-related contribution to project management and the Lead Enterprise Architect, as well as review of project results

Project Background

As part of an extensive IT modernization project, the availability of the existing IT infrastructure is to be increased and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements ensured.

The goal is to modernize the existing data center infrastructure and develop resilient and geo-redundant operating structures. Existing IT systems are to be analyzed, technical adaptation requirements identified, and suitable operating models developed.

The project definition phase serves to determine the technical prerequisites, the required infrastructure needs, and the estimated costs for further implementation.

To support the Lead Enterprise Architect, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) who will support the technical analysis and evaluation of the affected IT systems as well as the development of the required architectural foundations.
