Enterprise Client Management Architect (m/f/d) with focus on MECM and Windows 11

Project overview

For our client, we are currently looking for two Enterprise Client Management Architects (m/f/d) with a focus on MECM and Windows 11.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, conception, and further development of the MECM infrastructure in a large environment with over 10,000 clients
• Planning and optimization of MECM hierarchies (CAS, multiple primary sites, more than 50 locations or distribution points)
• Further development of software distribution for administrative applications
• Conception of modern Windows 11 workplaces, e.g., VBS, Windows Hello for Business, and Always On VPN
• Creation of architecture documents, decision templates, and strategic papers for committees

Requirements

Desirable:

• University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of experience in public service with administration-specific procedures, e.g., variable substitution or location adjustments
• At least 5 years of in-depth experience with Windows client environments in large, distributed structures
• Deep knowledge of Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022, e.g., GPOs, registry, profile management, and rights concepts
• Sound practical experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
• Experience in team management, with ITIL processes, and in architecture documentation
• Experience in the state administration of Hesse and/or with tax procedures
• Environments with more than 10,000 Windows clients
• HTTPS hierarchy in MECM with Microsoft Enterprise PKI
• MBAM, WSUS, and RBAC integration in MECM
• Target/actual compliance checks of client configuration
