Equipment Transition Maintenance Manager

Project overview

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Ensure maintenance continuity from the start of the assignment (take over on-call duties, planning, interim arbitration) while respecting safety regulations.
• Analyze the organization using CMMS data and on-call duty reports to assess current sizing.
• Establish an equipment criticality matrix distinguishing what must remain in-house from what can be outsourced.
• Co-construct with HR, based on industrial benchmarking, the merged organization and centralized on-call duty with a balanced workload per technician.
• Organize the handling of equipment maintenance.
• Support the team through the transformation by involving them in the thinking process and organizing skills transfer.
• Structure management by standardizing data and methods, implementing indicators, reporting, steering committees, and operating budgets, and managing service providers.
• Participate in the recruitment of the position holder and organize the handover.
• Confirmed maintenance manager profile, Bac+3/5 level (industrial IT, production engineering, or industrial maintenance).
• Experience managing technicians subject to 24/7 on-call duty.
• Successful experience in reorganizing maintenance and managing change in a sensitive social context.
• Good knowledge of industrial maintenance methods (NF X60-000 standard), CMMS tools, and technical supervision systems.
• Skills in management via indicators, reporting, steering committees, and operating budgets.
• Experience in managing service providers, specifications, and consultations, public procurement practice appreciated.
• Industrial background providing benchmarking, knowledge of road infrastructure appreciated.
• Technical knowledge base in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, or industrial IT.
• Data culture with a predictive maintenance approach.
