? IT Project Manager – Technology Integration | Germany

We’re supporting a global organisation with the appointment of an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a significant technology integration and transformation programme.

This is a key role within a complex international technology environment, responsible for taking technical initiatives from assessment and planning through to delivery, stabilisation and transition into business-as-usual operations.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the technical integration workstream, working across enterprise applications, ERP, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity and third-party platforms.

The role will involve working within a JDE-based ERP environment, so experience with JDE is advantageous. However, JDE experience is not essential — we’re open to candidates who have worked with other enterprise ERP platforms and can demonstrate strong experience transferring their knowledge into new environments.

• Leading the delivery of complex system integrations across programmes and projects
• Developing and maintaining integration plans, standards and best practices
• Assessing technical solutions and providing design assurance
• Working across ERP, infrastructure, data and cybersecurity teams
• Managing third-party technology suppliers and integration partners
• Ensuring integrations are secure, resilient, documented and operationally ready
• Identifying opportunities to simplify and modernise legacy integrations
• Supporting technology assessments and strategic transformation initiatives
• Managing risks, issues and dependencies through to resolution
• Working with senior business and technology stakeholders across a complex international organisation
• Strong IT project management experience within complex, multi-system environments
• Experience delivering enterprise system integrations
• Experience working with an enterprise ERP environment such as JDE, SAP, D365 or another major ERP platform
• The ability to quickly understand and operate within a new ERP environment
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs, middleware, ESB, iPaaS and/or event-driven architectures
• Experience establishing technical standards, governance and best practice
• Strong understanding of security, resilience and data integrity within integrations
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and system integrators
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence across organisational boundaries
