for my top client in the service sector in the Frankfurt area, we are looking for an experienced IT System Operator for Billing Operations, System Operation, and Process Management.

The position combines responsibility for the execution and monitoring of complex billing runs with ensuring the stable operation of applications, interfaces, and communication systems.

• Execution, monitoring, and optimization of billing runs
• Analysis and resolution of billing, process, and system errors
• Execution of SQL evaluations as well as data quality and plausibility checks
• Administration and monitoring of communication and data transfer systems (e.g., Axway)
• Ensuring stable operation of applications, cloud systems, and interfaces
• Monitoring of systems and applications (e.g., SolarWinds)
• Analysis, planning, and continuous optimization of operational processes
• Support of interfaces and data exchange procedures (API, EDI, XML, FTP/SFTP, AS2)
• Close cooperation with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external service providers
• Ensuring proper month-end and closing procedures
• Several years of experience in Billing Operations, Finance Operations, System Operation, or Process Management
• Very good SQL skills
• Experience with ERP, billing, or financial systems
• Good knowledge of IBM AS400 / IBM i
• Experience in the operation and monitoring of applications and interfaces
• Good knowledge of API technologies and transfer protocols (SFTP, SSH, HTTPS, AS2)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and operating models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
• Experience with scripting or automation solutions (PowerShell, JavaScript, Batch; HTML is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of financial accounting, invoicing, and billing processes
• Very good MS Office skills
