Job description
Seeking an Expert Automation Specialist for a public sector client to design, develop, and advance test automation solutions within SAP environments. The role involves building and optimizing test automation strategies, utilizing Tricentis Tosca and LiveCompare, and providing expert consultation.
Project overview
For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for an Expert Automation Specialist.
Period: 01.01.2027 – 31.12.2027
Effort: 23 person-days (PD)
Deployment Model: 20 PD remote, 3 PD on-site in Stuttgart
Language: German (B2/C1)
Responsibilities

- Conception, development, and advancement of test automation solutions in the SAP environment
- Building, scaling, and optimizing test automation strategies for complex SAP system landscapes
- Use and further development of Tricentis Tosca for automated execution and assurance of SAP tests
- Use of Tricentis LiveCompare for analyzing changes and risk-based prioritization of tests
- Consultation on the development and implementation of suitable test strategies and quality assurance measures
- Analysis and evaluation of SAP system landscapes, especially in the context of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori
- Consideration of IDocs, interfaces, and integrations in the conception and implementation of automated tests
- Identification of optimization potential in existing test automation processes
- Coaching and technical support of project teams and employees in test automation
- Taking on technical leadership in the advancement of test automation approaches
- Expert-level consultation on test automation, test strategy, and quality assurance
- In-depth experience in SAP test automation
- Sound knowledge of Tricentis Tosca and Tricentis LiveCompare
- Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori
- Experience with IDocs, SAP interfaces, and system integrations
- Proven experience in the development, implementation, and scaling of test automation strategies
- Sound knowledge of test strategy, test management, and quality assurance
- Experience in coaching and technical leadership of project teams
- Strong consulting and analytical skills at an expert level
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good German language skills at B2/C1 level
