International group seeks an IFRS consolidation expert for a minimum 3-month full-time contract in Paris. The role involves taking over and improving monthly consolidation processes and preparing for a full IFRS consolidation.

Context
Our client is a fast-growing international player, present in several countries. They are looking for a consolidation expert to take over and validate the group's monthly consolidation, then prepare for a full IFRS consolidation, while awaiting a permanent hire.
Main missions
Run the consolidation from the first month
Prepare full IFRS consolidation
- Start: immediate
- Duration: 3 months minimum, full-time
- Location: Paris, predominantly on-site (1 day remote)
- Working language: English daily, written and spoken
- Take over the existing monthly consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement), currently done in Excel
- Ensure multi-currency conversion, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Deliver reliable consolidated figures to the finance department within deadlines
- Propose and implement process improvements from the first closings
- Work with the IFRS team on consolidation rules and methods (business combinations, goodwill, scope changes)
- Contribute to the choice of consolidation tool: requirements gathering, vendor comparison, recommendation
- Document methods and choices so the system remains auditable and transferable to the future role holder
