• For our client in mechanical and plant engineering, we are looking for several experienced freelancers to coordinate and monitor external assembly service providers.
• In this responsible role, you will ensure the timely, quality, and contract-compliant execution of assembly projects and act as a central interface between internal specialist departments and external partner companies.

Responsibilities

Profile

• Coordination and control of daily assembly operations of external service providers
• Planning and coordination of resources, deadlines, and interfaces between multiple involved companies
• Documentation of deviations, tracking of measures, and support with acceptances
• Leading and moderating coordination and status meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Creation of reports on progress, quality, costs, safety, and compliance
• Completed technical training or a degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Relevant project experience in the assembly or commissioning of machines and plants, as well as experience in managing external service providers
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards, quality standards, and assembly procedures (e.g., DIN, ISO, VDI)
• Experience in handling work and service contracts, occupational safety (HSE), and ideally knowledge of AÜG (German temporary employment act) demarcation
• Confident use of MS Office, MS Project, SAP, VMS systems, or comparable digital project tools
• Fluent German language skills, good English skills desired
• Willingness for on-site assignments and conducting progress, quality, and safety checks on the construction site or in the plant environment
