We are currently looking for a Senior Data Platform / Cloudera CDP Expert to support one of our major clients in the insurance sector, as part of the transformation and modernization of its Data environment.

🎯 Your mission

You will be part of a Data Platform team to ensure the evolution, reliability, and operational maintenance of a Data platform based on Cloudera CDP / Hadoop.

Your role will combine technical expertise, cluster administration, N3 production support, and support for Data architecture evolutions.

• Participate in the modernization and version upgrade of the Cloudera CDP platform.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Hadoop clusters.
• Provide N3 expert support and resolve complex production incidents.
• Participate in crisis cells and perform root cause analyses.
• Support DataOps and N2 operations teams.
• Conduct technical studies and propose architecture evolutions.
• Optimize platform performance, capacity, and security.
• Industrialize and automate administration and operations processes.
• Contribute to discussions around Lakehouse, Data Sharing, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Participate in sensitive production operations and occasional interventions outside of working hours.

🏢 On-site: ideally 2 to 3 days per week

💼 Contract: Freelance

💰 Daily rate: €625 to €660/day depending on profile

📅 Start date: November 2026

• Over 10 years of experience in Data infrastructures, Big Data platforms, or complex production environments.
• Proven expertise in Cloudera CDP and Hadoop cluster administration.
• Solid experience in operations, MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition), and N3 production support.
• Mastery of Linux environments and automation tools.
• Ability to analyze complex incidents and propose sustainable solutions.
• Good understanding of the architectural, performance, and security challenges of Data platforms.
• Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
