Job description
An international energy group is seeking an independent EPM expert to review their current Anaplan platform and advise on three strategic options: optimizing Anaplan, migrating to OneStream, or adopting a hybrid approach for their finance master plan.
Project overview
A large international energy group, in its renewable energy business, is reviewing its EPM master plan. Its Anaplan platform, in place since 2018, has expanded significantly: nearly 350 users, 16 models, over 30 use cases, and 220 reports, covering various areas (operational activities, group holding, HR, IFRS 16). This growth has created data and rule redundancies, as well as manual flows with consolidation and payroll tools.
The IT department must decide between three paths: optimize and converge on Anaplan, migrate to OneStream, or build a hybrid target.
We are looking for an independent expert capable of illuminating this choice with true neutrality towards the software vendors.
Your role
You will act as a reference EPM expert within a consulting team, providing technical and methodological support:
- Review of the existing Anaplan architecture (models, flows, redundancies, technical debt)
- Construction and costing of the three target scenarios
- Leading or co-leading arbitration workshops with the Finance business units and the IT department
- Presenting recommendations in steering committees and to management
