Our client in the Other sector is looking for an Expert Exadata Couchbase DBA (m/f/d).

Mission Description:

Context

Within the infrastructure and operations directorate of a large group, the team supports IT projects, from the developer environment to the Cloud. The service is part of the information systems lifecycle management and will be carried out within a team composed of Product Owners, technical experts, database administrators, and developers. The team operates in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) mode.

Mission

Ensure the administration, expertise, and support of databases, with particular expertise in Oracle Exadata. The mission covers the implementation and operation of databases, their maintenance in operational condition, the automation of procedures, and the support of critical production environments.

Essential Skills / Qualities:

Oracle, Oracle Exadata database administration and Level 3 production support, Scripting and automation (Shell, Ansible), Database performance and tuning, Linux and RAC/Data Guard environments, Exadata, Couchbase

• Implement and operate Oracle/Exadata, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase databases, in standalone or cluster mode.
• Automate the implementation and operation of databases using Shell, Ansible, AWX, and N8N scripts.
• Ensure Exadata operation and maintain databases in operational condition using Data Guard; document and automate procedures.
• Perform patching of Exadata infrastructures and databases, document and test procedures, and validate new product versions.
• Deploy databases, including monitoring and backups, and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) patch management.
• Conduct performance audits and database tuning in case of issues.
• Provide Level 3 operational support for critical Oracle RAC on Linux environments.
• Write technical procedures for Level 1 and 2 support and contribute to technical architecture documents.
• Act as the interface with publishers.
• Participate in on-call duties and interventions outside of working hours, and contribute to skills transfer and reversibility work when ordered.

• Methodologies: Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe
• Documented and automated database operation, monitoring, and backup procedures.
• Exadata and database patching procedures, with documentation and test results.
• Technical procedures for Level 1 and 2 support and contributions to technical architecture documents.
• In case of ordered reversibility: reversibility plan, validation checklist, reporting, summary, and acceptance report.
