Seeking an expert in energy industry billing and Schleupen migration for a project focused on developing, stabilizing, harmonizing, and ensuring the quality of billing processes during a Schleupen implementation and data migration.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an expert in energy industry billing and Schleupen migration.
Project Goal: The goal is the functional further development, stabilization, harmonization, and quality assurance of energy industry billing processes within the scope of a Schleupen introduction and data migration. The assignment will be in a project context with a focus on electricity and gas billing, as well as payment transactions and balancing.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of existing billing processes for electricity and gas.
- Collection, clarification, and documentation of functional requirements.
- Assessment of functional impacts on payment transactions and balancing requirements.
- Identification of digitalization and optimization potentials in billing processes.
- Functional consulting for data migration to Schleupen.
- Validation of billing-relevant migration objects.
- Creation of functional concepts within the system landscape.
- Creation of functional test cases.
- Execution and evaluation of functional tests.
- Analysis of billing errors and discrepancies.
- Review of regulatory requirements.
- Derivation of functional corrective measures.
- Creation and maintenance of functional documentation.
- Knowledge transfer to project teams and implementation teams.

- Several years of experience in energy industry billing.
- Profound knowledge of B2C and B2B billing processes.
- Profound experience with SAP IS-U in energy industry billing.
- Knowledge of Schleupen is desirable.
- Knowledge of energy industry data formats.
- Experience in functional data migration projects.
- Experience in creating and executing functional tests.
- Understanding of payment transactions and balancing requirements in the energy industry environment.
- Analytical competence and structured working method.
- Very good German language skills at C1 or C2 level.
