Responsibilities

Profile

• Analysis and optimization of MSSQL configurations regarding stability, availability, and performance
• Analysis and optimization of Always On Availability Groups and Windows Clustering
• Development and further development of PowerShell automations
• Analysis and optimization of backup and recovery procedures
• Performance analysis and query tuning
• Analysis of complex disturbances including root cause analysis and sustainable technical solutions
• Participation within defined ITIL-based incident, problem, and change processes
• Further development of standardized and multi-tenant capable operating procedures, considering hardening specifications
• Creation and updating of comprehensible technical documentation as well as structured technical handovers
• Consideration of relevant requirements from BSI-Grundschutz and ISO 27001
• If necessary, technical troubleshooting outside regular service hours within agreed service and response parameters
• Senior knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2019–2025
• Profound experience with Always On Availability Groups and Windows Clustering
• Very good knowledge of PowerShell and automation
• Experience with backup & recovery as well as performance and query tuning
• Experience with ITIL-oriented operating processes and disturbance analysis
• Experience with highly standardized, virtualized, and multi-tenant capable MSSQL environments
• Knowledge of BSI-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, and IT hardening
• Experience with technical and audit-proof documentation and operational handovers
• Experience in the public sector/authority environment
