Expected

• Ensure the smooth 24/7 operation of IMS subsystems, as well as CICS and z/OS Connect.
• Guarantee their stability by applying patches and adapting carefully studied and tested configurations.
• Manage incidents and ensure application monitoring (support, debugging, performance).
• Monitor and optimize subsystem performance.
• Assist piloting teams and business units.
• Lead the implementation and deployment of new IMS versions.
• Participate in the deployment of CICS, z/OS Connect, and associated products (IBM, Broadcom, BMC…).
• Ensure communication between IMS, CICS, z/OS Connect, and other subsystems (DBMS, MQ…) and servers.
• Participate in the evolution of the MD13 domain architecture and business projects.
• Design and propose solutions related to version upgrades, new features, and new client needs.
• Contribute to the modernization of the production environment and continuous improvement.
• Participate in business continuity exercises.
• Ensure technological watch: user meetings, IBM conferences, study and implementation of new developments.
• Keep system documentation and quality procedures up to date.
• Mastery of IMS
• Mastery of the z/OS system
• Knowledge of CICS, z/OS Connect, DB2, and MQ
• Knowledge of mainframe monitoring tools
• Knowledge of third-party products from IBM, Broadcom, and BMC
• Confirmed IMS expertise in a critical production environment.
• Ability to take a project task from end to end: planning, execution, documentation.
