Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Expert (m/f/d) with a focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) for a long-term position. You bring sound SAP knowledge and extensive experience in optimizing accounting and controlling processes in international environments.
Your tasks include supporting and further developing OTC processes, including customer master data, sales order and billing processes, and receivables management. You manage and ensure the quality of operational process execution, coordinate interfaces between specialist departments and external service providers, and support financial reporting processes in the monthly closing. Furthermore, you continuously optimize existing accounting processes and implement new requirements based on internal and regulatory specifications.
We expect a completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting/controlling or a comparable qualification. You have several years of experience in PTP and OTC, including invoice creation, payment processing, and dunning. Very good SAP knowledge as well as experience in methods, process, and system design are required. Basic knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements (VAT, commercial law, IFRS) as well as compliance requirements in accounting are necessary.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex issues in a target-group-oriented manner complete your profile. Fluent German and English skills (min. C1) are required.
The position is designed for over 12 months and will be carried out in a hybrid work model (approx. 3 days office, 2 days home office). Full-time employment with 40 hours per week.
