For a bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced personality for the further development of existing market risk applications.

In a team of eight developers and nine subject matter experts, you will technically implement requirements from Risk Management and Trading. You will develop new functions and interfaces and support the stability and performance of the risk and trading applications.

Role: Expert Java / Kotlin Developer (m/f/d)

• Analysis of business requirements from Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Trading, and translation into technical specifications
• Development of new functions and further development of existing components with Java and Kotlin
• Connection of trading systems, market data, reference data, reporting, and risk platforms
• Ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability, especially for intraday and end-of-day processing
• Execution of unit, integration, and regression tests, as well as support for business acceptance tests
• Error analysis and resolution in 3rd level support
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Many years of experience in application development at an expert level, corresponding to eight to twelve years
• Sound knowledge of Java and Kotlin
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Linux, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, and Windows
• Experience in the development and integration of interfaces
• Experience with software testing and the analysis of performance and stability problems
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical solutions
• Structured way of working and enjoyment of collaboration with development and business departments
• German and English language skills at C2 level
