Expert Land Cable Installation / Cable Infrastructure

Responsibilities

Profile

• Creation and updating of management and control documents for a land cable section
• Structuring and documentation of measures as well as maintenance of measure and open point lists
• Creation of status reports, section overviews, management dashboards and decision bases / Review of planning, execution, and contract documents for completeness, plausibility, and consistency
• Evaluation of documents regarding applicable standards, norms, technical regulations, and approval requirements
• Creation of review protocols, comment lists, test reports, and expert opinions
• Coordination and documentation of technical interfaces between land cable installation, civil engineering, station construction, parallel projects, and other project participants
• Organization, support, and minute-taking of technical coordination meetings / Creation and maintenance of interface registers including schedule and status overviews
• Creation and updating of call-off and delivery overviews for cables, joints, and accessories
• Analysis of delivery dates, material availability, and logistical dependencies / Evaluation of delivery, storage, and provision concepts
• Analysis of schedule, quality, logistics, and execution risks / Evaluation of construction processes, construction progress, and critical paths
• Performance of target-actual comparisons as well as creation of forecasts and recommendations for action / Preparation of decision documents for project and section management
• Sound technical qualification in the field of land cable installation or comparable cable infrastructure projects
• Experience in the analysis and evaluation of technical, organizational, scheduling, and logistical issues
• Experience in reviewing planning, execution, and quality documents
• Knowledge in the evaluation of construction processes, delivery processes, interfaces, and project risks
• Ability to independently create expert opinions, reports, decision documents, and recommendations for action
• Structured, comprehensible, and reliable way of working
• Confident communication with various project participants and contractors
• German language skills at least at C1 level
