Expert Talend 8 / Tech Lead Data (M/F)

Project overview

TEKsystems is looking for an Expert Talend 8 / Tech Lead Data for one of its clients to strengthen a Data Foundation / DataHub team in the context of modernizing and migrating its Data platform.

The mission consists of securing existing Talend expertise, supporting technical teams, and contributing to the platform's evolution.

Your role

You will primarily act as a technical reference for Talend 8, with a secondary focus on the evolution of the Generic Foundation.

You will be the technical reference point for Talend with the teams and Tech Leads.

In this capacity, you will be involved in:

• Talend 8 Expertise, core of the mission
• Supporting and technically assisting teams with Talend 8 developments
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving anomalies in Talend processes
• Big Data / Spark processing
• Talend / Cloudera CDP / Spark 3 compatibility issues
• Maintaining and evolving CORE and HOWTO reference projects
• Managing contexts, joblets, metadata, and development patterns
• Understanding and manipulating the internal structure of Talend projects: .item and .properties files, components, and attributes
• Maintaining and evolving custom Talend components
• Creating and tracking Talend Cases
• Defining and disseminating good development practices
• Supporting and upskilling Tech Leads
• Contribution to the Generic Foundation
• Java / Spring Boot developments
• Anomaly analysis and correction
• Foundation evolutions and modernization
• Industrialization of developments and build chains
