Expert Embedded Software Validation with Safety-Critical SW

Project overview

We are looking for an expert in hardware-related embedded software and testing.

Task Description:

• Independent assessment of existing processes and methods for securing embedded software according to normative and qualitative requirements
• Development of proposals for optimizing assurance and analysis methods
• Development of new methods for software integration analyses (including Data and Control Flow Analysis, Worst Case Execution Time Analysis, Memory / Map File Analysis)
• Documentation of existing and new test and analysis methods in the form of work instructions
• Creation of presentation materials

• Completed technical training or studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Significant experience in hardware-related embedded software development
• Good knowledge of the programming languages C and Ada (reading and understanding code; software is already developed)
• Experience in software integration, including build generation and debugging
• Experience with tools for integration analyses, e.g., Absint Toolchain
• Experience with scripting languages like Python
• Confident use of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge in development according to normative regulations, such as RTCA/DO-178C, ISO26262, A-Spice advantageous
• High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and quality standards
• Communication and teamwork skills in collaboration with other departments, with assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills
