Job description
We are looking for established service providers with the appropriate personnel and organizational structure to assess machinery, modules, and technical concepts for relevant SEMI requirements, particularly SEMI S2. The role involves creating and reviewing risk assessments, checking development documents for compliance, and coordinating with external certification bodies.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Assessment of machines, modules, and technical concepts regarding relevant SEMI requirements, especially SEMI S2
- Creation and review of risk assessments and safety-related assessments
- Examination of development and design documents for compliance with standards and certifications
- Identification and documentation of deviations and derivation of suitable measures
- Evaluation and documentation of work results and certification evidence
- Technical coordination with development, design, and external testing and certification bodies
- Support of reviews and certification activities in the development process
- For this assignment, we are looking for established service companies with the appropriate personnel and organizational structure as well as sufficient capacity for project implementation.
- Experience in machine safety, certification, or compliance in special machine construction, ideally in the semiconductor industry
- Sound knowledge of SEMI standards, especially SEMI S2 and SEMI S10
- Knowledge of other relevant SEMI Guidelines, e.g., SEMI S8, S14, and S22
- Experience with risk assessments and safety-related assessment of complex machines
- Experience in collaboration with testing or certification bodies, for example TÜV
