Responsibilities

Phase 1: Assessment

Phase 2: Leadership of the Competence Center (approx. 3 months)

Skills

• Inventory of the current organization, processes, and roles related to SAP concerning the S/4HANA implementation
• Evaluation of the Competence Center's maturity: tasks, responsibilities, interfaces with business departments, IT, and the project
• Analysis of existing standards, governance structures, and change and release processes
• Derivation of fields for action and a prioritized roadmap
• Coordination of results with management and stakeholders
• Functional and organizational leadership of the Competence Center
• Implementation of the prioritized measures from the assessment
• Establishment of standards, guidelines, and best practices (including Fit-to-Standard, Clean Core)
• Development or refinement of requirements, change, and release management
• Preparation for the transition from project to regular operation (operational and support model)
• Management and enablement of the team, as well as knowledge transfer to key users and internal consultants
• Reporting and coordination with the steering committee and business departments
• Structured handover to permanent management
• Several years of experience in setting up or leading an SAP Competence Center or Center of Excellence
• Demonstrable experience with organizational assessments in the SAP environment
• Profound S/4HANA knowledge, ideally from an implementation
• Experience in team leadership
• Knowledge of governance, change/release management, and operational models
• Very good communication and moderation skills, persuasive ability with management and business departments
• Advantageous: SAP Activate, Clean Core approach, ITIL, Cloud ALM or Solution Manager
