Specialist Construction Manager MEP Cooling & MSR (m/f/d) – Data Center

Project overview

For a demanding Data Center project in Linz, we are looking for an experienced Specialist Construction Manager MEP Cooling & MSR (m/f/d) to strengthen the client's representation on-site.

The focus is on the construction-phase control and monitoring of the installation of water-cooled rack cooling systems. You will coordinate the mechanical execution work, monitor quality, and ensure smooth coordination between the trades and project partners involved.

Responsibilities

• Representation of the client on-site and monitoring of execution for compliance with plans and contracts
• Technical supervision and coordination of mechanical construction with a focus on water-cooled rack cooling systems (Cooling Rack) in the Data Center
• Monitoring the assembly and installation of water-cooled systems and associated piping and supply components
• Checking execution against drawings, technical specifications, and contractual requirements
• Coordination of interfaces between subcontractors, specialist planners, and adjacent trades
• Monitoring execution quality as well as recording, documenting, and tracking defects
• Schedule monitoring and early identification of deviations in the construction process
• Review of measurements, invoices, and technical change orders
• Carrying out and accompanying technical acceptances
• Ensuring proper technical documentation and handover of systems

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in mechanical construction management / MEP construction management with a focus on cooling
• Sound knowledge of water-cooled systems, ideally in the area of cooling racks and rack cooling in data centers
• Experience in large industrial, plant construction, or comparable major projects
• Confident handling of drawings, measurements, invoices, and change orders
• Experience in coordinating various project stakeholders and interfaces
• Very good English and German language skills
