Responsibilities

Expected Outcome:

• Creation, coordination, and optimization of production plans that are compliant with capacity and materials for electronic control systems and assemblies
• Ensuring timely production supply, considering customer demands, production capacities, and technical changes
• Analysis of material requirements, inventory levels, stock levels, and shortages, and derivation of appropriate control measures
• Execution of material requirements planning, including checking and processing exception messages in SAP
• Control of material flows using Kanban, warehouse replenishment, material provision, and support of inventory processes
• Monitoring of production orders, production progress, delivery dates, and capacity bottlenecks, including systematic deviation management
• Coordination of supplier control, material disposition, and deadline tracking, including escalation of critical supply bottlenecks
• Evaluation of relevant production and supply chain key figures, including inventory levels, delivery reliability, and planning quality
• Optimization of disposition, production planning, and logistics processes, as well as maintenance of relevant material and planning master data
• Coordination between production planning, purchasing, supplier management, production, and sales planning, including functional representation of adjacent MRP functions
• Production planning for electronic automotive systems coordinated according to capacity and materials
• Transparent material requirements, inventory levels, and secured material supply
• Reduced shortages and systematically managed supply bottlenecks
• Improved on-time delivery, planning quality, and production stability
• Traceable production key figures and optimized material flow processes

• Core competence in industrial manufacturing planning, production control, and material requirements planning or comparable
• Several years of expertise in manufacturing and production planning of electronic systems and assemblies in the automotive environment
• Sound knowledge of series production of automotive electronics, electronic control units, and mechatronic components
• In-depth experience in capacity-oriented production planning, production order control, deadline planning, and bottleneck management
• Confident use of SAP, especially Materials Management and Production Planning (MM/PP), including planning parameters and exception messages
• Sound knowledge of material requirements calculation, inventory and stock level analysis, as well as shortage and supplier control
• Experience with Kanban systems, material flow control, warehouse replenishment, delivery deadline tracking, and structured escalation management
• Expertise in production key figures, Excel-based data analysis, planning quality, and continuous process optimization
• Sound knowledge of the interfaces between production planning, production logistics, purchasing, and sales planning
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills
• Start: immediately
• End: 30.06.2027, option to extend
• Scope: Full-time, approx. 40 hours/week
