Job description
Seeking a field technician for operational maintenance of technical equipment in partner retail locations within the Chalon-sur-Saône area. This role involves autonomous on-site interventions, daily travel to a specific box for equipment, and extensive driving.

Mission
You will ensure the maintenance in operational conditions (MCO) of technical equipment installed in partner retail locations spread over a large territory.
You will intervene autonomously on site, following a daily schedule established by our coordination cell. You will perform maintenance operations on electronic, IT, and network systems in a standardized environment.
You must go to the Chalon box to pick up and return equipment EACH day.
There can be many kilometers on some days.
Responsibilities
Preventive and curative maintenance on checkout terminals, printers, control modules, multimedia decoders, routers, displays, etc.
Network configuration (ADSL, 4G), IP addressing, connectivity tests.
Software updates via compliant USB key (FAT32, naming required).
Deployment, replacement, or recommissioning of equipment, including full configuration.
Writing reports using a business tool.
Technical calls to the support center for validation or intervention declaration.
Management of vehicle equipment stock (spare parts, peripherals, cables, accessories).
What our client provides
On-board equipment stock (routers, dongles, various modules).
Level 2 remote technical support.
Complete documentation (paper and digital procedures).
Profile sought
Previous experience in field intervention or technical support is appreciated.
Good skills in hardware diagnostics and connectivity (USB, RJ45, VGA...).
Basic knowledge of network configuration and embedded Windows environment.
Autonomy, rigor, customer service orientation.
Mobility required: you are willing to travel many kilometers depending on the day.
Important: interventions are occasional and generally planned several days, or even weeks, in advance. The volume of activity can vary: some periods can be very busy, while others involve few interventions, depending on client needs.
