Introduction and Summary

We are looking for a Finance Project Director. You will be commercially responsible for a portfolio of offshore grid connection systems, both nationally and internationally, working in a dynamic environment.

Together with the Technical Project Director, you will lead the projects as a duo at Director level. You will manage budget, schedule, risks, and governance, ensuring that project goals are achieved within budget, schedule, and quality. To do this, you bring sound experience in commercial project management and a deep understanding of business administration.

Responsibilities

• You will have national and international commercial responsibility for the execution of a portfolio of offshore grid connection systems.
• You will lead the projects together with the Technical Project Director in a leadership duo at Director level.
• You will represent the commercial interests towards stakeholders.
• You will provide technical leadership to the commercial project team.
• You will manage budget, schedule, risks, and governance.
• You will structure decision-making processes and design work packages.
• You will be responsible for budget planning and making economic procurement decisions.
• You will ensure that all measures are implemented in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Completed degree in economics or engineering
• Proven professional experience in commercial project management
• Good understanding of business contexts
• Confident application of legal knowledge in the project environment
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, ideally also of ERP systems
• Very good German and English skills
• Intercultural competence and international work experience
• High willingness to travel, including internationally
• Experience in project-driven industries such as energy, construction, or industry
