Financial Controlling CEE

Project overview

We are looking for a Controller with a focus on international financial controlling for the Vienna location (23rd district) to support an internationally active company in the automotive environment. The assignment is limited to approximately one year, with a planned start in December for familiarization and structured handover before the start of the parental leave replacement in February. The scope of hours is approximately 20-30 hours per week with a hybrid work model (60% on-site, 40% home office).

Key responsibilities include controlling several CEE companies, monthly closing and consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, as well as Austrian VAT and Intrastat reporting. We are looking for a person with approx. 3-5 years of controlling experience, good SAP knowledge (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and experience with SAP BOFC.

Very good English skills are required, good German skills are desirable; knowledge of other CEE languages is a plus.

Experience in international financial controlling, process optimization, independent work, and good collaboration with international stakeholders and the Shared Service Center in Portugal are particularly important. The contract model can be a freelancer contract, temporary employment, or a fixed-term direct employment with the client.
