Project overview
The team is looking for an experienced embedded firmware specialist to support development within its compact thermometer portfolio. The focus is on bare-metal development and APL/SPE communication, with someone who can quickly understand existing systems and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Support bare-metal firmware development for embedded products.
- Contribute specialist knowledge of APL/SPE communication.
- Work within existing firmware structures and internal parameterisation systems.
- Take ownership of agreed development tasks and work independently.
Requirements
- Strong experience in low-level, bare-metal embedded firmware development.
- Practical expertise in Ethernet-APL and SPE (Single-Pair Ethernet).
- C++ development skills; Python and Ethernet/IP experience also relevant.
- Ability to learn internal systems quickly and attend onsite during onboarding.
