Fixed Asset Accountant

Project overview

For an established company with multiple subsidiaries, we are looking for an experienced freelancer (m/f/d) in the field of fixed asset accounting to provide operational support to the existing finance team and to contribute to the optimization and further development of processes.

Ideally, you already have experience in the clinic or hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Your Requirements

• Independent processing of ongoing fixed asset accounting
• Maintenance and administration of fixed assets as well as processing of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation
• Reconciliation and control of relevant asset accounts and booking processes
• Support in the optimization and digitalization of existing accounting processes
• Participation in the further development and conversion of the financial systems used
• Close cooperation with the finance team and adjacent departments
• Sound practical experience in fixed asset accounting
• Ideally, experience in fixed asset accounting in the clinic, hospital, or healthcare sector
• Solid knowledge of general financial accounting
• Confident use of MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Knowledge of Orbis or Diamant is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Independent, structured, and careful way of working
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing processes and systems
• Good to very good German language skills
