Develop and implement innovative FPGA-based hardware solutions for the defense sector, including design, integration, testing, and optimization of complex digital circuits.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of innovative FPGA-based hardware solutions
- Design and integration of complex digital circuits with FPGAs, SoCs, and high-speed interfaces
- Development of hardware modules considering DDR memory, power supplies, and production-suitable manufacturing requirements
- Commissioning, testing, and verification of electronic modules
- Analysis and optimization of signal integrity and performance of critical high-speed systems
- Close collaboration with the hardware, FPGA, software, and system development departments
- Support with error analysis and technical documentation
Requirements
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering with a focus on communication or information technology, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the development of digital hardware
- Sound practical experience in the implementation of complex hardware designs with FPGAs, SoCs, DDR Memory, High-Speed Digital Interfaces, and Power Supplies
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and verification of electronic modules
- Confident use of measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators
- Experience in FPGA development as well as good knowledge of VHDL are advantageous
- Knowledge in the areas of receivers, RF front-ends, and communication systems is desirable
- Structured way of working as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good German and English language skills
