The role
We're looking for two freelance Business Analysts to join a global digital consultancy on a finance data project. The client is a global investment manager moving its financial data from Excel models and Lucanet onto a new Snowflake platform.
Your job is to make sure the new data is right. You'll test it, check the numbers match the old sources, and help the finance teams keep using their models without any gaps.
What you'll be doing
Most of your time will go on testing and reconciliation. You'll plan and run UAT on the new financial outputs, write test cases, log defects and retest fixes.
You'll reconcile P&L, balance sheet, trial balance and NAV data. When numbers don't match, you'll find out why and work with the right teams to fix it.
You'll also map the existing Excel models to the new Snowflake data and write up how they work. You'll work closely with fund, finance and tech teams, and prepare the evidence they need to sign off.
What we're looking for
Experience in investment management, real estate or fund accounting would be a real plus. So would Lucanet or a similar finance system. You won't need SQL or Python for this one.
Why it's worth it
It's a 6-month project with a likely extension, through a top consultancy. You'll come out with hands-on experience of a Snowflake finance data migration, which more and more firms are doing.
