Currently, I am looking for a freelance closing expert (m/f/d) with SAP knowledge for my client.

• Project-related participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support with provisions, accruals, and balance sheet valuations
• Participation in the analysis and commentary of deviations in the closing process
• Support in populating consolidation systems and preparing notes
• Participation in the development of KPI dashboards and management reporting solutions
• Project-related involvement in tax-related issues, especially in the area of value-added tax

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German tax law and value-added tax
• Experience in an international corporate environment
• Background in auditing with a strong hands-on mentality

Project Language: German and English

Must-Haves:

• Sound experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Knowledge of IFRS or Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience in general ledger accounting / Record-to-Report (R2R)
• Very good knowledge of provisions, accruals, and balance sheet issues
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in analyzing and commenting on closing figures
• Knowledge in preparing notes in the closing process
• Knowledge in the area of value-added tax
• Start: ab sofort
