Freelance Construction Manager – Gas Turbine Power Plant

Project overview

For the erection of a new gas turbine power plant, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate and oversee construction and assembly activities on the client's side.

We are explicitly looking for a personality with practical experience on power plant construction sites – not exclusively planning project management.

Responsibilities

Coordination and supervision of all relevant construction and assembly trades

Management of interfaces between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C

Supervision of gas turbine, generator, and balance-of-plant installations

Coordination of construction companies, subcontractors, and OEM Field Advisors

Monitoring of construction progress, schedule, quality, and HSE

Coordination of site logistics, lifting operations, and assembly processes

Support of Mechanical Completion and handover to Commissioning

Requirements

At least two different new constructions of gas or combined cycle power plants

Personal construction management responsibility during the construction and assembly phase

Experience with gas turbine installation and mechanical or electrical power plant trades

Knowledge of F-class gas turbines desirable

Experience in coordinating multiple contractors

Demonstrable site management and high willingness to be present

Fluent English; German advantageous
