Freelance Environmental Manager / Project Leader Waste

Project overview

As an environmental manager/project leader waste, you will tackle the following tasks within two projects concerning waste dumping and reducing the frequency of residual waste:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Directing the execution of pilots against waste dumping at various hotspots in the municipality
• Guiding the pilot around reducing the collection frequency of residual waste in two neighborhoods
• Connecting all involved parties, including collectors, waste coaches, enforcement, KCC, communication, and neighborhood managers
• Monitoring progress and being jointly responsible for monitoring results based on indicators
• Shaping a neighborhood-specific approach and stimulating resident participation
• Ensuring customization and attention to specific target groups such as seniors, families, and residents with medical indications
• At least 5 years of experience in guiding change processes related to waste collection
• Minimum 5 years of experience with stakeholder management
• At least 3 years of experience with waste issues in an urban context
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a neighborhood-specific approach
• Minimum 3 years of experience with resident participation
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect people
• High degree of environmental sensitivity and persuasiveness
• Independent and analytical working method
• Results-oriented and pragmatic attitude in collaboration with stakeholders
