Job description
Seeking a freelance Environmental Plan Lawyer to contribute to the development and management of the environmental plan within the Spatial and Economic Development team. The role involves ensuring legal correctness, identifying and resolving inconsistencies, and supporting the project leader.
Project overview
As an environmental plan lawyer, you will contribute to the development of the environmental plan within the Spatial and Economic Development team.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Participate in the environmental plan working group
- Develop and manage the environmental plan
- Develop and deliver the pilot
- Ensure legal correctness and completeness of the plan rules
- Identify errors and contradictions in existing rules and convert them into sound and current rules
- Support the Project Leader for the Environmental Act as a point of contact for legal and practical aspects of the amendment process
- Completed HBO or WO education in spatial planning, urban planning, or law, preferably focused on environmental law
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience with environmental law; candidates with less experience are also welcome
- Current knowledge and experience within environmental law
- Understanding of the relationship between legal plan rules and DSO software
- Strong analytical skills, accurate, and organized
- Familiarity with Cadac Compass is recommended
