Freelance Expert Managed Connectivity & ENS Certification - Immediate - Remote

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced freelance expert in the field of Managed Connectivity / M2M and Connectivity Management Platforms (CMP) to support an ongoing migration project.

Our client is migrating its managed connectivity solution to a new Connectivity Management Platform. As part of this project, the requirements of the Spanish ENS certification (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) are to be integrated and implemented. For this, we are looking for an expert who will independently manage this workstream and translate the regulatory requirements into concrete technical, organizational, and procedural measures.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the relevant ENS certification and security requirements for the managed connectivity solution
• Translation of the requirements into concrete technical, operational, and procedural specifications for the new CMP environment
• Performance of gap analyses as well as definition and implementation of suitable measures
• Management and support of the implementation within the scope of the ongoing CMP migration
• Definition and implementation of required processes and security measures
• Creation of necessary documentation
• End-to-end support for ENS certification and associated audits
• Consideration of further relevant standards and regulatory requirements, particularly NIS2, CRA, and ISO 27001

• Sound practical experience in the field of Managed Connectivity and M2M
• Very good knowledge of Connectivity Management Platforms (CMP)
• Understanding of the technical and operational specifics of M2M connectivity solutions
• Experience in implementing security, compliance, and certification requirements
• Knowledge of gap analyses, process design, and technical documentation
• Ideally, experience with ENS as well as other standards such as NIS2, CRA, or ISO 27001
• Independent and structured way of working as well as the ability to manage a project workstream independently
• Willingness for close coordination with internal product and technology teams
