• Project-related support in financial accounting
• Participation in asset accounting and the accounting representation of incoming and outgoing payments in SAP
• Support with account reconciliations and processing of provisions
• Participation in the booking of depreciation and maintenance of accounting matters in fixed assets
• Project-related support for month-end and year-end closing preparations according to HGB and IFRS
• Participation in the accounting representation of new issues according to existing IFRS guidelines
• Support in ensuring proper booking logic and data quality in the SAP system
• Several years of experience in financial or accounting
• Sound knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and asset accounting
• Very good SAP knowledge
• Good knowledge of HGB and IFRS (IFRS 16 is also welcome)
• Experience with account reconciliations, provisions, and depreciation
• Good English skills for technical communication in an international environment
• Certified Accountant (IHK) or Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt) is an advantage
• Knowledge of corporate structures
