Seeking an FPGA Verification Expert for an ASAP start on a 6-month defense project near Stuttgart. The role requires 4-5 days onsite per week and focuses on test automation and verification.

Technical / Professional (must-have)
Very good knowledge of FPGAs
Knowledge of HDL / VHDL
Experience in FPGA test automation
Experience in setting up testbenches based on requirements
Experience with Python (test automation, control scripts)
Experience with HiL control and HiL test procedures
Experience with VHDL simulation environments (simulation setup & execution)
Ability to make simulations executable on PC (Executable Testflows)
Experience in comparing simulation (SiL) and HiL results
Understanding of HDL automation
Experience in pre-integration of FPGA + hardware
Knowledge of test execution, functional signal testing, and test methodology
Process / Workflow
Ability to automate test cases
Experience working with CI environments (integration of automated tests)
Ability to set up tests that are reproducible, automated, and documentable
Work Organization
Willingness to be on-site 4 days per week
Ability to work close to hardware (oscilloscope measurements, continuity testing, etc.)
NICE-TO-HAVE Skills (optional, but valuable)
Experience in FPGA bug fixing
Experience in FPGA development / FPGA architecture
Experience with Hardware Bring-Up (commissioning boards)
Experience with Lattice
Experience with OSVVM, V-Unit, UVVM or cocotb
