Freelance Full-Stack App Architect / Lead Developer

Seeking a technically savvy sparring partner who not only implements requirements but also actively thinks along, contributes innovative solution approaches, and drives the project forward both strategically and technically.

Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with the team for the further development and concretization of the product vision
• Analysis, evaluation, and optimization of existing ideas, functions, and technical solution approaches
• Professional management and technical support
• Definition and prioritization of technical requirements as well as creation of clear development tasks
• Ensuring a scalable and sustainable full-stack architecture including backend and API integrations
• Continuous technical quality assurance and review of development results
• Proactive identification of new functions, optimization potentials, and technical possibilities
• Efficient use of AI-supported development tools

Requirements

• Several years of experience in full-stack development of mobile applications
• Profound knowledge in app development for iOS and Android, for example with Flutter, React Native or comparable technologies
• Very good understanding of software architecture, backend systems, APIs, and database structures
• Experience in technical leadership, coordination, or supervision of external developers
• Practical experience with AI-supported development workflows
• Ability to translate product ideas into well-thought-out technical concepts and concrete development tasks
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach to work
• Ideally, experience with fitness, health, or lifestyle applications
• Very good German and English skills
